Peter is an active and cheerful, he likes sport, and do it as much as possible. Even after surgery, in a hospital bed, he exercises with an expander, and do other exercises. He never lost good and healthy optimism, he communicates with his colleagues and volunteers. He is ready to go through the long, and painful treatment to the healthy end.
During 2 weeks after Petro joined The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project doctors already conducted 3 complex surgeries. At this stage, doctors of The Ilaya Clinic perform a series of plastic surgeries to increase the volume of soft tissues on the wounded foot, and cover the open wounds. At the same time, biotechnologists work with selected material, and prepare it for further transplant. They plan to do it during the the following courses of treatment.
The primary examination of the wound. The trauma, doctors threat was horrible
Peter got injured a little more than a month ago. He stepped onto the enemy mine during a military reconnaissance operation. You can get the details through the link. At the public hospital doctors were capable only to suggest an immediate amputation. We believe, that the latest cellular technology, used at The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project along with the considerable experience of their successful use give Petro a great hope for a recovery. Petro agree with us. He wants to use all possible chances to heal. The treatment will be long, complex, performed in several stages, and considerably expensive. Together we already collected a significant part of the total amount required. We ask you to continue help to The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project. Your donations give us the opportunity to save Petro from life long injury.
