Hand and Foot Warmers for Ukrainian Military Personnel

Ukrainian defenders are re-conquering the Eastern part of the country in the most extreme conditions. And one of the most challenging tasks during combat operations in sub-zero temperatures is to preserve heat and prevent hands and feet frostbite.

That's why, we are announcing an urgent fundraising project that will help us deliver thermochemical heaters to the military in the front zone as soon as possible.

• Total required: 800+ individual warmers;


• The cost of one warmer: 50 hryvnias


• Total cost: 200 000 hryvnias ($5443).

The warmer temperature can rise to 40-65 degrees celsius. Heat is preserved for more than 4 hours. The bags are small, and easy to put in a backpack or first aid kit, so they literally save our defenders from hands and feet hypothermia. It is crucial during military missions when there is no shelter nearby or no way to light a fire.

Updated 9.10.2024: The amount has been increased by UAH 100,000 (USD 2,427.82).

Updated 05.10.2025: We are increasing the amount of the fundraiser “Warm Our Defenders” by 50,000 UAH.

These funds will be used to purchase:
• individual heating pads,
• warm sleeping bags,
• heating equipment for soldiers in the field and for indoor use.

The autumn-winter period always brings additional challenges for our defenders. Frost and cold do not stop the enemy, but we can help make service safer and more humane by providing our soldiers with essential warmth.
