Ukrainian defenders are re-conquering the Eastern part of the country in the most extreme conditions. And one of the most challenging tasks during combat operations in sub-zero temperatures is to preserve heat and prevent hands and feet frostbite.
That's why, we are announcing an urgent fundraising project that will help us deliver thermochemical heaters to the military in the front zone as soon as possible.
Each warmer consists of two separate heating pads that can be placed in a pocket or shoe. A powder inside those pillows and its components start a chemical reaction after contact with air. Therefore, to activate the heater, it is enough to take it out of the package and lightly shake it. After that, it starts to emit heat.
The warmer temperature can rise to 40-65 degrees celsius. Heat is preserved for more than 4 hours. The bags are small, and easy to put in a backpack or first aid kit, so they literally save our defenders from hands and feet hypothermia. It is crucial during military missions when there is no shelter nearby or no way to light a fire.
The project budget has been increased by 100 000 UAH
