On August 13, Yuriy, a wounded soldier of the 51st Brigade underwent his first operation – the fitting of an Ilizarov apparatus to his leg and foot and the fencing of cellular material for further use in the treatment of his nonunion fracture of the tibia.
The operation was a success and the fighter is already resting in the ward.
Funds for the treatment of Yuriy have almost been collected, however treatment is underway.
