“… Do you remember that spotter hiding in ruins? That was during the shelling. We saw him in the thermal imager. Crawled closer, but how to take him down if you have nothing but the imager? How to aim at him? I tried to get closer…. and then he spotted me. I had to retreat. “
In Ukraine’s military combat there are many such stories. Technology at the front is still missing. At least thermal imaging sights, which are a rarity. But war with them takes on a different face.
The commander of the unit that received the transfer of our thermal imaging sights and other equipment immediately went to calibrate the sights. He returned with enthusiasm:
“Now we have a completely different war beginning…”
His smile did not bode well for the terrorists.
This story and video was relayed to us by People`s Project volunteer Boris Pelekh who delivered the thermal imager (in Ukrainian):
The delivery of high-tech devices to Zaitseve this week was punctuated with drama. We are told the volunteers had to pass under fire. Full report can be found at this link.
Currently, we are receiving requests for equipment for soldiers at the front. Thanks to your support, we have quickly raised money, bought and delivered gear. Devices purchased by your contributions to the project Rapid Response.
This project is aimed at providing an immediate response to requests and arranging the efficient transfer of military equipment.
Our volunteer Boris Pelekh personally made the delivery to Avdiivka’s industrial area. This is targeted assistance to Ukrainian soldiers who have nothing to adequately respond to terrorist attacks with. The guys at the front really need support.
To help the boys stand in this difficult struggle for Ukraine, funds can be transferred via this link:
