They’ve got brand new ones! As you remember, for quite a long period of time we have been asking you for support. A tank brigade’s sniper unit required our help in purchase of new tires for the unit’s vehicles instead of the old shabby ones. There are only two vehicles at their unit, both sent by volunteers, so changing the tires to new ones at the expense of the state was out of the question.
As the result, it has come to the inevitable: during a recent outing when the snipers worked in the hottest sectors of the frontline completing the tasks on pacifying the russian snipers, one of the tires got completely torn, so the guys had to drive back to their base on the rim. Just imagine: elite troops, well-trained snipers had to figure out how to get back instead of complete commitment to their current combat tasks.
Naturally, in our opinion this is totally wrong, and if the official army institutions are unable to help, then we must help our snipers. At the expense of your generous donations we have raised the necessary amount within the Rapid Response project, and bought two sets of new special tires for the snipers. All the expenditures got in the project’s report where you can easily see them.
But the work is still far from completion. May we remind you that within the Rapid Response initiative we are accumulating money to support a unique radio reconnaissance unit. Its observation points are scattered over the entire forefront area, and our task is to help them modernize the equipment they use. It is not about the state’s ability and willingness to support them: the mission is to provide them with all the necessary gear in the war conditions as soon as possible. Hence, it is we, the volunteers who can prove the most supportive link. We have already bought the surveillance systems for the scouts, so the current point is to purchase voltage stabilizers and a few computers for data processing. Dear friends, please join in: each hryvnia donated in the project is exceptionally appropriate as the scouts’ unit is engaged in the work that keeps the entire country and each of us individually, away from a big trouble.
