Two days ago, paratrooper from the 3rd separate special purpose regiment, Valeriy underwent corrective osteotomy to his radial and ulnar bones along with metal osteosynthesis plate blocking. This made it possible to bring his arm into alignment after it was fused in the wrong position following his fractures.
The paratrooper is feeling great! At the beginning of next week he will be discharged!
We wish Valeriy a speedy recovery!
Valeriy entered the project suffering the consequences of an explosive shrapnel injury to his right forearm – improperly fused bone fractures with ulnar deformity and scar contracture of the right radio-carpal joint and fingers.
Victoria Krotov, a volunteer from Odessa, advised the soldier to apply to the project Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded.
