Today Bohdan, a 25-year-old volunteer with the 93rd Brigade, who was wounded near the village of Pisky, underwent a procedure for the sampling of cellular material – red bone marrow from the ilium and a periosteum fragment of the fibula. Bohdan is currently resting after the operation, and in a few days will go home to Lviv regain his strength before the next phase of treatment.
The next stage – namely the treatment of his nonunion fracture of the radius will take place in a few weeks, after the cultivation of cells in the biolaboratory.
The soldier became part of our project thanks to Odesa volunteer Olha Dombrovskaya, who advised him to contact the ilaya Medical Company, when public health facilities could not help in the treatment of his trauma.
Thanks to regular patrons of The Peoples Project we were able to quickly find the money and completely secure Bohdan’s treatment.
Thank you to all who helped! We wish the hero a speedy recovery!
