Dear friends, let us report on the latest transfers within the Second Front initiative. Only yesterday we delivered another batch of equipment to the Romodanov NeuroSurgery Institute. We supplied the neurosurgeons with some small but significant stuff like hand disinfectant and respirators of the third, the highest level of protection. They said thank you still the demand for these remains high as we satisfied their needs only partially so far.
A couple of days ago, the medics of the Kremenchuk Central Regional Hospital also got their PPE stuff. We’d like to send our huge thanks to local veterans and Mr. Volodymyr Polyakov in person. Together with them, we prove to be much more effective in our activities. Another part of the PPE was distributed among the Mykolayiv hospitals: you can find an itemized account of the shipment in our detailed report on the project.
Today we also need to mention some other urgent needs. The doctors from the KyivThird Maternity Home have reached us for assistance once again. Their daily work is in full swing but there is a certain shortage in PPE for the staff. The thing they need the most is protective gowns and bodysuits, so we immediately ordered these and now will have to pay for the purchase. Surgeons have placed another request for five additional face masks (those remodelled from the snorkeling ones): the doctors say this is the most convenient protective gear that can be used in a surgery room. So we need to buy these as well. In addition, we have to purchase some respirators for neurosurgeons: these are always in demand there, too. All this means we desperately need more funds for the upcoming purchases. Despite the fact we have already satisfied the majority of requests from medics from all over the country, it is still not the right time to close the project until we’ve met all the demands on our request list. We just cannot leave our medics alone to face the danger on their own.
Dear friends, it seems a great time for you to join in. Please come and participate in our initiative contributing to it as much as you can afford. Your support is truly essential!
