Last week we wrote about preparations for the start of classes for the School of Military Divers project, with instructors testing equipment, training exercises worked on in the pool and the exploration of the sea floor looking for the best place for a diving training site.
As they prepared to launch the project, the trainers were visited by a crew from the Ukrainian news network 112 Channel. See the report (in Ukrainian) below.
As stated in the video, we really need your support. Ukraine’s military divers training and equipment is lacking and enthusiasts volunteers are doing their utmost to ensure the divers receive new knowledge and skills. There is a lack of trained units that can perform complex operations on the water, and those that do exist are very poorly trained in safety practices. This situation must change and we are willing to make the changes necessary, however without you this project will not happen. Please get involved and support the School of Military Divers project.
