The past week has, like every other, been packed with exciting developments, nowhere perhaps more so than in the Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded project: one sponsor made a whopping contribution to the treatment of the two men – Oleksandr and Oleksiy. The total payment amount is 240,000 UAH (US$10,538)! Some 132,420 UAH (note this amount is not enough to cover Oleksandr’s full course of treatment) was donated on November 4. A second contribution from the same benefactor of 107,580 UAH was transferred to the project account of Oleksiy, a Ukrainian Volunteer Corps (UVC) “Right Sector” fighter who was wounded near Donetsk airport. It is also worth noting this Wednesday, November 11, Oleksiy’s next surgery – the preparatory phase – will be conducted at the site of his injury to restore bone.
We express our deep gratitude to the sponsor for the show of generosity! However, we are just as grateful to anyone who has contributed to help Ukrainian soldiers and heroes who need our care and treatment!
Every contribution is important and valued.
