“Just look what it has come to, – you may say, – they’re now illustrating their news with pictures of junk!”. And you will be absolutely right. Still, this is positively to the better: the more garbage and shabby rags there are in the photographs – the harder to detect our wonderful snipers it is, as all that stuff is intended to disguise them and to protect them from the enemy eyes.
Today we will show you a few pictures that have literally just come from the forefront, sent by old good friends of ours, a sniper unit actively working near the frontline.
Sorry but we cannot tell you anything about their current location. But take our word: at the moment the guys are completing an important combat mission on hunting down of an infamous enemy scoundrel. We sincerely wish them all the best in their work. And we not only wish it but are trying to do our best to increase the chances for their successful hunt.
The matter is, only recently we, the volunteers of People’s Project, addressed you for help: together we raised the necessary amount of money within the corresponding I Am Sniper project and purchased another portion of gear for the guys. Weather stations, range finders, periscopes, a thermal vision device and some other stuff are in the list of equipment we have already sent to them.
Apart from these, the snipers also need a thermal imaging scope for their work to stay effective in the night time. This gear is helpful not only at detecting the enemy in the dark. Its use will enable the snipers to hunt for terrorists in general and their thermal radiance emitted by an object allowing seeing it through the curtain of shrubbery or disguise.
Well, the sum we need to accumulate, looks rather substantial. The amount comes up to about a hundred hryvnias (please see the exact sum in our report and the list of needs within the project). Still to raise it together with our efforts combined looks quite possible (as proven by our previous successful experience). So dear friends, please join in because the war is still on, and our support is really important for the Ukrainian military holding defense in the forefront.
