Some of our projects would never have seen the light of day if it were not for his help. Uncle Vanya – AKA Ivan Savelyev, our old friend and just a good man with metal. Like a magician, he conjures with metal and eventually turns it into a whole bunch of devices that help the military.
Uncle Vanya in person
This time in the hands of Uncle Vanya has returned from wrecks three Fords, which we passed on to the Marines in the fall. Earlier it was Uncle Vanya who constructed an armored booth to sit under a gun, today we return to this.
Ah, here it is this
Remote-controlled turret – this unit will turn a car into a modern gladiatorial chariot that can crush enemies under any conditions. More on it from Sergiy.
We decided to visit the workshop where Ivan Savelyev works his magic for a coffee. Uncle Vanya is known in the circles of those who thinned the separative population. Known for his steel products, sweat and curses. Frame, turrets, inventions, armor, a wide variety of appliances and transformers. Strong, reliable, comfortable and very necessary at the front. Sophisticated in design and made on a shoestring budget.
Uncle Vanya’s products have long and regularly helped a variety of armed forces units in the Ukrainian to adhere to Minsk II and turn away terrorists breaches. Now they, along with Serge Marko have on casters another project for the Marines, which is why the entrance is one of Fords, but inside work continues.
This turret frame is disassembled, but the attention to detail Uncle Vanya pays is priceless, it is hard work that requires knowledge, skills, sweat, curses, coffee and energy – weeks, days and hours.
As much of a magician Uncle Vanya is, buying supplies from which he manufactures all these devices require certain costs. They did we pay from people’s donations. Previously these turrets were made within whole separate project, now it has become part of a global military initiative – Rapid Response. Your contributions to the project are vital, because the expenses of the project not only covers the turrets, but also buys necessary equipment, which we are asked for by soldiers who hold leading positions front. The war continues, the needs are ongoing – and we need your help badly.
