This project to provide the Ukraine’s military with thermal weapon scopes began with the domestic production of the TeplovizorUA. A philanthropist-patriot has since paid for seven of these scopes. The sponsor, who wishes to reamain anonymous, believes the latest development in thermal weapon scope technolgy is both useful and vital given the current situation in Ukraine.
Some of thermal weapon scopes funded by the sponsor have been sent to soldiers at the front, while the remaining scopes were transferred to other projects.
Using a thermal imager can prevent sudden night attacks at checkpoints or acts sabotage. Thermal weapon scopes are very useful for snipers, and for reconnaissance groups.
However what has been provided so far is only half of what soldiers need.
The cost of each thermal weapon scope is US$4900.
These thermal weapon scopes are a completely Ukrainian innovation and eaqual in quality to foreign-made equivalents. In addition, their price is 2.5 times less than foreign scopes.
