The war continues. Given the current needs of the Ukrainian army volunteers of The People’s Project launch The School of Military Divers Two Project. In terms of the project we plan to collect required amount of money to purchase some equipment for diving and fulfill the needs of the diving instructors, who will train descendants.
Because of the occupation of Crimea, Ukraine lost almost all preparatory base of underwater military activity. However, we never lose the most important thing. We still have qualified divers, who will train worthy replenishment for the ranks. Our instructors use in a training of a combat swimmers an extremely tough sport discipline, called aquatlon. Also, they share their own combat experience.
At this stage, we train and equip inspecting teams. Those are the units of special purpose, who serve under the water and provide protection and support military infrastructure in a good condition. The task of those combat divers is to detect any damage and destroy enemy saboteurs.
Training of combat swimmers will be held in the open waters, as well as in the indoor pool, where are special conditions for practical training. Most of the training equipment and books are provides for rent by the instructing group. Transportation and daily expenses of instructors covers Mariupol unit of the State Border Service of Ukraine. The volunteers of The People’s Project have to collect donations, to pay for the pool and purchase diving equipment.
We sincerely hope for your help. Your donation to The School of Military Divers Two Project will significantly help to train talented professionals, who can guard underwater borders of Ukraine. To collect a relatively small amount and train a few underwater military professionals is much effective solution, than wait for a support of the government. We share a large area of the sea border with the russian aggressor. The sooner we strengthen it, the safer it would be to live in Ukraine.
