Dear friends, we promised you to remain honest in every case, and try to keep our word. The news is rather upsetting as Sashko, a patient of the Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded project, needs our help again. Some time ago we sponsored Sashko’s treatment for complex consequences of the injury, a combat wound when an enemy bullet had severely destroyed his shin and total loss of the bone made over 80 cubic centimeters which is 6cm in length. Oleksandr’s complete dramatic story can be found via the link.
With application of innovative technologies, the Project’s doctors managed to grow up the lacking mass of the bone and make the bone fuse up again – this was the problem that doctors in conventional hospitals failed to solve. The process of restoration was far from being easy: Sashko had to undergo corrective procedures over and over again. In some time, the fusion seemed to entirely fuse up, and Sashko started to live an active life like anyone else does. Still once the things went obviously wrong due to recurring infection that manifested itself by active ruining of the newly restored bone causing much pain and discomfort. At the moment, the diagnostics process is on, so we can hardly formulate the trouble with more exactness. The only thing we can do is to tell you about the despair and pain the man who has been trying to recover for several years in a row, feels.
Hence, dear friends, we have to seek your assistance one more time, as you know that treatment of wounded fighters within the Project can be carried our at the expense of your donations solely. The sum we need to raise, is rather small, but there’s little hope that medics in conventional hospitals can help Sashko. So if the Biotech doctors take on his treatment, let them do their best in this. Dear fiends, we’re asking you to support the man who paid his well-being and good health for our common comfort and piece. So we just cannot leave him alone in trouble, can we?
