Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and eight Armed Forces personnel were injured in an evening attack mounted by Russian terrorists in the industrial zone of Avdiivks on the evening of May 23. That’s according to coordinator of the volunteer organization, The People’s Project, Maksim Ryabokon, who spoke with military on the scene.
According to him, during the attack, the Russian terrorists again used weapons prohibited under the Minsk agreements.
“We have two 200 (code for killed) and eight 300 (code for wounded). The terrorists attacks are fiercer than usual. The bombardment began at evening, at about 20:37, and that’s when the Ukrainian side suffered the first losses. Currently all the wounded taken to Intercession Hospital (in Krasnoarmiysk),” Ryabokon said quoting military sources.
Avdiivka remains the hottest spot in the ATO zone. Nearly every day Russian terrorists carry out massive bombardment of Ukrainian positions in the industrial zone using banned weapons. In armed provocations, the Russian terrorists from time capture OSCE observers.
