Ukraine’s First Lady Marina Poroshenko will be guest of honor on January 23 as the innovative social project «Skin bank” is unveiled to media.
Ukrainian volunteers’ center “People’s Project” in collaboration with the Ilaya medical clinic, jointly launched the project, which is designed to treat burns using cellular technology.
The project was launched with the support and under the patronage of the First Lady. While treatment of burns victims due to the fighting in eastern Ukraine is a large focus of the project it is not exclusive of other burn victims.
Marina Proroshenko will tour the Kyiv Burn Center as part of the media event. Founder of the «Skin bank» Oleksiy Shershnev, the head doctor of the Kyiv City Burn Center Anatolyі Voronin and coordinators of the “People’s Project” will also be on hand during the tour to talk with patients, discuss the priorities of the project and present more project details to the media.
