Needless to say, vehicles are the blood in the veins of military logistics. However, vehicles on the front are so severely tested they are prone to break downs. Running repairs in such conditions also cause headaches. Therefore, in the project Spare Parts and Supplies 2, the volunteers of The People’s Project continue to repair military equipment courtesy of people’s donations. This time we delivered to the military at the front more vehicle and these are just three of them:
This is an old and reliable “Ural” straight from the front. It may not be pretty but it performs its tasks perfectly. It is there, at the front, it carries soldiers and ammunition.
Over time, the vehicle’s head gasket began to fail making repairs necaessary. Now the “Ural” has a new lease of life and is ready to serve Ukraine’s soldiers. Surprisingly, the volunteers said the repairs cost little more than 3500 UAH.
This “KrAZ” was proving reliable service between heavy artillery gun positions in Giacint”. However, conditions off-road nearly finished the machine off – shaking and damaging the gearbox.
We procured parts, performed the work, and now the “KrAZ” has returned to service. Despite all expectations, the repair also cost less – 7500 UAH.
This Mitsubish carries managing commanders between positions. Thanks to it, the leaders quickly and efficiently travel for operational inspections, and soldiers and officers in situ. Over time, the engine began to fail. It was repaired first, then the springs and shock absorbers were replaced. The entire repair cost all of 2500 UAH.
The three vehicles are not out last patients to be treated under the Spare Parts and Supplies 2 project. Work on the project continues, later we will complete work on a few more vehicles. In addition, we will continue to raise funds for the repair of other vehicles, which are much needed at the front. After all, only Ukraine’s army, battle-worthy and secure, inhibits the progress of the brutal aggressor in the East. And every working vehicle at the front is worth its weight in gold.
