People’s Blindage

On the front line a week passes in what feels like a day, which means rest id sorely needed. To this end, the first blindages have have been constructed in their designated places. The military highly appreciated our work and the commander thanked everyone who participated in the first phase of our project.
Blindages at the frontline are vital and while to live in blindage at this time of year is not comfortable. (For those who do not know, a blindage – is a pit dug in the ground with a heater, covered with a top layer of soil). This is the nature of war and it is claimed some of the soldiers have been living without shelter for more than 60 days. That alone is a heroic act.
We thank those who in spite of all the hardship have remained at their designated positions. These guys are our national pride! Glory to Ukraine!
