On Thursday night Russian terrorists were firing with prohibited weapons at positions held by Ukraine’s armed forces in Avdiivka. That’s according to the coordinator of the volunteer center, The People’s Project, Maksim Ryabokon.
According to him, the Russian terrorists began shelling Ukrainian positions about 1am. The Russian-terrorist forces fired about 300 shells mostly large caliber – 122, 120 and 82 gauge prohibited by the “Minsk agreements”.
The shelling led to casualties among Ukrainian soldiers there, Ryabokon said.
The Ukrainian military is strictly adhering to the “Minsk agreements” and do not meet the terrorists with the same fire. During the attack the boys were hiding in well-fortified dugouts that we collected funds for and constructed in Avdiivka with donations from Ukrainian people. Ryabokon thanked the logistics services of the organization for the recent delivery of two of our fortified dugouts in Avdiivka.
As we reported, on May 23, as a result of massive bombardment from the Russian-terrorism forces, two Ukrainian fighters were killed and eight injured to varying degrees of severity.
Also on Wednesday, June 8, our volunteers received photographs showing the violations by Russian terrorists of the “Minsk agreements”.
Avdiivka remains one of the hottest spots in the ATO zone. Nearly every day Russian terrorists carry out massive bombardments using banned weapons. The People’s Project, financed by the people of Ukraine, is regularly delivering equipment to soldiers in Avdiivka to combat this.
We have delivered and installed in the industrial zone of Avdiivka two more “Sabre” combat units. Thanks to the cameras installed on each unit allows the soldiers to keep defenses remotely from a distance of up to half a mile without risking their lives.
Currently help is needed in the following projects:
Rapid Response, I Am Sniper, and People’s Blindage
