Dear friends, we have got some news on the Biotech concerning Petro, one of the most difficult patients on the Project whose leg that had been injured in a landmine explosion, we are going to restore in the course of a multi-staged treatment.
Today petro has finished another phase of restoration and left the clinic. Lately, the guy underwent another complex surgery during which doctors dissected the bone, put the foot in its physiological position and fixed the whole leg by means of the Ilizarov apparatus. The treatment plan underwent certain modifications as initially medics aimed to apply cell technology and implant Petro’s newly grown heel bone into the guy’s foot. Still due to complications that occurred in the course of reconstructive process, this was delayed.
Petro got injured in May of 2017 when he hit an enemy mine that destroyed his foot and smashed out the heel bone. At conventional hospitals, doctors gave up on his leg, and only a day before the appointed amputation the guy was talked into joining the Project to try out the last chance for restoration. These efforts proved effective, as the leg got in fact saved despite the fact complete restoration is still on.
All this was possible only at the expense of your benevolent donations. Unfortunately, Petro is not the last patient of the Project, and even if we have paid for his treatment in full, the rest of patients still need our assistance. Dear friends, don’t hesitate to join in as our sweats often give them the last chance for a normal life!
Let us remind you that Petro is the veteran who helped to disclose the corrupted officials of the Ministry of Defense who demanded bribes from injured fighters. You can read the story following the link.
