Fresh news about Oleksandr. The man has already been undergoing treatment within the Project for two consecutive years: his injuries are quite massive, so the treatment takes time. Moreover, the process of restoration is rather painful, so we have not happened to see Oleksandr’s face smiling so far. Still if to estimate the results of the two years’ efforts, we can confidently state that the Biotech has managed to save Oleksandr from amputation.
It still hurts if with no support: Oleksandr is demonstrating the range of the arm’s flexibility
Recently, Oleksandr arrived in the clinic for a regular check-up. The main stage of treatment has been completed, and the cell materials took their proper place in an injured shoulder, having formed up a new bone tissue. Unfortunately, during the rehabilitation process a misfortune occurred: Oleksandr fell and injured the area that has been under restoration. The doctors performed another surgery aimed to renovate the damaged tissues at once, but naturally this postponed recuperation a bit.
One of the first, fairly self-speaking x-rays. Oleksandr literally lacks a shoulder
The doctors of the Project are trying to overcome the aftermath of the trauma caused by a grenade blast: in spring of 2016, a grenade thrown from the enemy under barrel launcher, hit Oleksandr on the shoulder. It happened in Avdiivka industrial zone called Promka. Luckily, the man escaped death. The arm also remained in its place, but a fragment of a shoulder bone forming a shoulder joint, was turned into a mess of bone splits. Due to application of cell technologies, the doctors of the Project fused up the numerous fractures and formed the head of a shoulder joint up afresh. Now Oleksandr is actively undergoing rehabilitation and gets prepared to normal life – even since the last check-up one can easily observe that the range of the arm’s achievable movements has grown increasingly a lot!
Volodymyr Mykhaylovych seems quite confident of the prospective success: maybe it still hurts but over the time the range of the arm’s movements is to enhance substantially
To prove supportive to the participants of the Project who are undergoing restoration following the severest injuries, we can at the expense of your benevolent donations solely: this is the purpose of the People’s Project’s individual volunteer initiative titled the Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded. Despite its successful practice of application, the state refuses to sponsor the treatment of the kind so far. Therefore, we have to seek for your assistance once again, as at any means we cannot leave our fighters in their trouble alone.
