The first batch of covers for BM-21 “Grad” have been delivered to gunners. The 28th Brigade no longer needs to be concerned about moisture or dirt affecting the performance of the eight multiple rocket launcher system at their disposal. Last Thursday People’s Project volunteers delivered the covers to the military mechanized brigade in Shyrokyi Lan where they are training. The delivery took place late at night, so more photos later.
To some it may seem that covers for the BM-21s is an optional extra, but, in fact, such simple thing goes a long way towards saving military equipment, protecting it from being directly affected by moisture and dirt when not in use. Corrosion strongly influences firing accuracy and can even incapacitate the system.
The gunners convey their greetings and thanks to all who contributed to the project.
