Last time our volunteers handed over covers for BM-21 “Grad” missile systems to the gunners of the 28th Brigade, it was already getting dark and it was not possible to take photos. The guys promised to photograph the covers already on the system and they kept their word. We also received photos of the covers, which we delivered to the artillery of the 72nd Brigade. Sure, these photos are not of the best quality but they clearly show the covers on the reactive systems.
When we show the gunners that not everyone understands the importance of covers, they are very surprised. Of course, they are the professionals and can spend hours explaining all the details of their work, and most importantly – how these covers really protect the equipment and save it from rapid wear and corrosion.
Soon we will get another batch of 22 covers – they are on order and have been paid for. Gunners and other teams are waiting for them. Meanwhile, raising money for the Covers for Grad project continues. We need your help to book our manufacturer for the next batch.
