The hip of “Gorin” Battalion soldier, Andriy has beed successfully restored! An X-ray taken of the joint shows successful restoration of the bone tissue after surgery with the use of biotechnology.
In the X-rays the formation of new bone in the area of the acetabulum can be seen as well as the fracture of the femur. Andriy’s next scheduled X-ray is in 1.5 months.
We also congratulate Andriy on some recent awards: a medal from the “Gorin” Battalion and a diploma from the Rivne regional council!
Fighter with the 79th Brigade, Oleksandr is now recovering at home.
Yesterday the famous Odesa volunteer, a wonderful woman with a good heart, Olha Dombrovskiy picked him up from the Ilaya Medical Center after the main operation on his foot was completed.
On December 2, doctors performed three operations on the hero’s foot. They included: the introduction of 3D-gel chips of osteoplastic material and autologous stem cells at the site of the fracture of the talus, at the site of the calcaneus fracture and at the fusion of the ankle joint site.
We wish Oleksandr a speedy recovery and good New Year holidays with his family.

Viktor, a soldier from the 11th Battalion “Kievan Rus” has been discharged and has returned home to recuperate after his primary surgery.
Recently the external fixation apparatus was removed from his leg and replaced with a plaster cast. Viktor needed a break from the hospital, and it is now much easier for him move on crutches.
Viktor’s treatment continues in the new year. In the meantime, we wish him happy holidays and a speedy recovery!
Viktor – represents one of the most complex cases the Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded project has dealt with. His treatment has many stages and is costly, as a consequence fundraising for Viktor is ongoing.
