Today National Guard soldier Andriy, who underwent restoration of 8 cm of his left tibia using biotechnology, is finally standing on both feet without the assistance of an Ilizarov apparatus. Previously, we reported that in Andriy’s bone doctors observed full integration of the implanted cellular material with recipient bone tissue. The hero is in excellent mood and is very positive about future rehabilitation.
Leaving the ilaya Medical Center he was accompanied by his sister and representative of medical unit of his military unit.
Now he is heading to Kremenchug, where his unit is stationed and then will go home to Sumy.
We hope Andriy is back on his feet and back to a normal life as soon as possible.
We also would like to thank Andriy and all soldiers for their military exploits. It is due to their courage and bravery most of Ukraine can enjoy the coming of spring and gardens in bloom under relatively peaceful skies.
