Over time, this gradually distorts the very perception of money, like: some tens of thousand on this, other tens of thousand on that, but we all perfectly understand how considerable such expenditures are. Especially when these amounts are formed at the expense of smaller donations made by sympathetic people. Some may make their affordable donation of a few dozens hryvnias, some give a few hundred, while others may transfer several thousands for the Army’s needs. Actually, this is truly essential since all these numerous small contributions raised by our volunteer center, in the end accumulate into such considerable sums.
And that’s why we’re always seeking the way to carry out all the necessary purchases at lowest price and on the most advantageous conditions. Over the past two months we have been raising funds and carried out purchases in favor of the 79th Air Assault Brigade who were heading to their service deployment. We continue the fundraising in favor of the paratroopers of the same 79th Air Assault Brigade: the fighters have been arranging their new positions along the contact line, so they need additional equipment. We are talking about the surveillance system which will allow our fighters to monitor the situation on key points of positions through computer screens instead of keeping them on guard outside in the cold. This will enable our military to save their resources for more effective work as well as protect them from unnecessary risk. We have already sent a similar system to another unit where it came in exceptionally handy. The purchase amounts to nearly 30 thousand hryvnias, and we cordially ask you to support the initiative.
The war is still on. Despite media remains mostly silent, and the entire situation is rather uncertain, our army men put their lives and well-being at risk every single day in order to protect our unsteady peacetime. The list of necessities that include gear and equipment that provides them an advantage over the enemy in a battle; the stuff that increases the chances to stay alive and win for our fighters; everything that the government fails to supply them with on time or cannot provide for certain reasons.
