Just over a single day Ukrainian law enforcement officers detained 6 people suspected of collaboration with occupiers and service in bandit “armies”. It happened on the last day of the summer at the checkpoints nearby Mariupol where the National Guard servicemen figured out and arrested the suspects while carrying out a regular identity check of the persons aiming to cross the contact line. All the arrested men are residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions; they attempted to cross the crossing points both by cars and by bus.
In addition to this considerable “catch” accomplished at a time, the law enforcement officers usually detain occupiers’ aides almost on daily basis. It seems more or less explainable when these visit the government controlled territory of Ukraine trying to receive their pensions or welfare payments. But what if these aggressor’s minions are not going to repent and come here to coordinate the work of hidden saboteur networks or bring weapons and explosives along with them?

We realize the danger resulting from this, rather clearly, so we try to support the people whose main task is to stop the deadly trafficking and protect us against possible terroristic attacks and unrest. That is why we have raised another sum and bought special equipment for a sapper unit.

These fighters are not only engaged in demining of the frontline area and adjusting territories, saving the lives of bot our military and civilians: special sapper units also actively involved in the checkups and monitoring procedures carried out in the contact line points of crossing. They carefully inspect the vehicles and goods to prevent trafficking of weapons and explosives onto peaceful lands. That is why we purchased three kits for thorough vehicle inspections for them. The device is a telescopic rod equipped with the set of mirrors, lenses and lamps enabling officers to closely examine each inch of the vehicle while staying clean.

Various ammunition, equipment, body kits and other gear: everything that the state cannot supply them due to various reasons.
