Dear friends, recently we, the volunteers of People’s Project, asked your help: it was about the equipment requested by a radio reconnaissance unit that has their observation posts located along the frontline. The radioscouts need radio surveillance systems to equip the territory around their posts; computers for processing the data they get, and voltage regulators to prevent possible hardware’s damage due to the instability of power supply in the frontline.
Your assistance proved exceptionally helpful: a part of funds raised within the Rapid Response initiative was enough to purchase the first portion of the necessary equipment. We decided to start with video surveillance systems.
This is a set of surveillance cameras: there are six of these in our parcel.
This is a signal processing unit, or computer, that receives the signals sent by the cameras, and then transmits them further to the observation point.
This is a box with the rest of the cameras, a tangle of cables, a power supply unit and other useful paraphernalia.
We have bought five of these sets: this will be enough to satisfy at least one third of the radioscouts’ needs. We are sure you will assist in supporting the guys with the rest of gear, won’t you?
Now to the rest of matters as regards our initiative. We got a request filed by our old good friends, the sniper unit of the 17th Tank Brigade. Our marksmen ask to help them with rather minor items: they need two sets of tires for their vehicles. What you can see in the picture is the remainders of tires they are using on their two vehicles belonging to the unit, at the moment. It is quite obvious that these tires are too worn out to remain in service for long, so we need to take care of the snipers in advance.
Dear friends, we urge you to join and participate in the Rapid Response project. Our military ask us to supply them with the things they urgently need, that is with the stuff that the state is going to provide either late or never. In addition to the tires, a few transformers seem rather insignificant, still the work of serious military specialists depends on them considerably. So please don’t hesitate to join us as the war is still on, and our support for the Army is vital.
