This unique video has been filmed by our friends, snipers on their positions somewhere near Donetsk airport. Actually, we know their location, still it cannot be disclosed in public due to safety reasons. Still surely you will agree to both this detail and the fact we had to cut a part of the video.
In this fragment you will see the snipers position from inside; the video was taken during a short break in the process of active work. You can easily recognize three things: the sniffling of a sniper who caught a cold, the sound of a vehicle’s engine and, to crown the composition, the volleys of a tank gun: supposedly, this anonymous “box” is busy warding off the terrorists who dare to violate the agreements and get too cocky too.
This video has been filmed as a sign of gratitude, a kind of thank to everybody who did not keep aside and assisted the guys with the equipment within the I Am Sniper project. Only recently People’s Project has sent them a compact range finder for fast and convenient measurement of distance to the target. Which was followed by a weather station designed to consider the weather conditions, and six reliable silencers.

The silencers are worth of a separate description: only in films the silencer is able to convert the loud sound of a shot into an amusing “bang-bang” that can hardly be distinguished in just a few meters from the shooter. In real life the device is able to muffle the sound of a shot just a little bit, – more effectively it reduces its intensity and disperses the sound, impeding identification of the direction of shooting for a detached observer. This feature is vital for a sniper who has not only to hit the target but to stay intact himself.

Now we are preparing one more parcel for the guys: another weather station and a more powerful range finder – their 2 km distance one got out of order last year, and its repair failed, so the guys feel quite unaided on their chief working distances. The price makes about 50 thousand hryvnias, and partially we have collected the amount, still we ask your support to complete the sum up.
