Vitaliy causes a bit of a ripple among our female volunteers so as soon as he shows up at the clinic, they are are immediately eager to produce news about him. True to form, in the days Vitaliy courageously survived a surgical intervention, they were on hand as he came out of anesthesia. Now he has had a little rest and is going home.

We note only that the main course of treatment has been completed, the leg has been restored, but this is not the end: now work is ongoing to improve the condition of Vitaliy’s foot, so, perhaps, operations will be needed in the future. During surgery, surgeons conduct tenolysis, that is, the release of the tendons of the foot from scarring and adhesions, as well as the extension of the achilles tendon according to traditional methods. This will allow the foot, which has been damaged due to severe foot injuries and prolonged treatment, to return to its natural position and range of movements. Accordingly, allowing Vitaliy to walk, and to run, and to do anything at all, freely without worrying about the terrible trauma with which he suffered several years.

Once again note: within the framework of the project Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded, the dotors of the ilaya clinic restore wounded men who are at high risk of amputation of limbs. Usually these are the guys who cannot be treated by traditional therapeutic methods. It is for these wounded, “Biotech” and it is literally the last chance. Armed with their own advanced scientific technology, experience, skills and knowledge, doctors grow huge bone fragments, overcome the most severe infections, which destroy wounded hands and feet, and bring these guys back to a full-fledged life. We will note that we, the volunteers of The People’s Project, make significant contribution to the process which requires significant financial expenses. All these costs and we take on ourselves – this is our part of the work that we are currently performing without any complaints.

However, the problem is not going away anytime soon and collecting the necessary amounts for treatment is all the more difficult: the fourth year of the war, not everyone can help for such a sustained period. However, the flow of patients on the contrary increases proportionally – because we treat those pathological conditions that can be remedied only now or after years of long and useless treatment in public hospitals, or those that arise as the consequences of older but terrible wounds. And we can not deny this tretment: because the alternative will be the life-long disability of the fighters. Do not mention the state – because of the position of the head of the Ministry of Health, the state will not finance such treatment. So, we just have to turn to you: friends, help – the price of several UAH is a chance for the recovery of our wounded soldiers who have sacrificed for Ukraine and its future.
