One of the first participants of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project Olexandr returned to the clinic for a control examination. He received an injury near Lutugyne in August of 2014, when an enemy shell exploded a meter away, and severely cripple his leg. He got partially cured at a public hospital. Doctors put the broken foot together, removed the debris, installed VAC-device and closed the wound. They did not touch the bone, so it fused in a wrong way, offset to one side. He could walk only with crutches or a cane. In both cases leg hurt violently, and immediately got swollen, so could not work normally.
We have not written about Olexandr for more than a year. He went through an active rehabilitation after a treatment of a complex trauma in terms of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project. He almost forget about the wounds, which healed in a short time, and got back to normal life. Cellular technology helped to recover the foot. Thanks to the cellular technology the metatarsus bones of the foot strengthened fast.
The x-rays did not show the whole picture. The pictured on your left shows the state of the leg, when Olexandr was able to hardly take a few steps. The pictured of the leg on your right shows the bone after it was stretched and significantly strengthened with a cellular technology, and Olexandr can confidently walk without any pain
The results of participation in a project are obvious. At the beginning Olexandr was barely able to take a few steps, and now he walks into the clinic confidently, without any additional support. Almost 300,000 UAH for a treatment of Olexandr volunteers of The People’s Project collected as donations. Thanks to your charitable contributions Olexandr, who almost lost his hope to walk independently, returned back to normal life. We are sincerely thankful for your participation in a project.
