Bogdan finished his treatment long ago, but we still publish news about him. The best thing is the news are good. Bogdan is a patient of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project. Just recently he went through a one of the last control examinations, which showed that recovery goes according to a plan, and his hand is in a good condition. So, the next time he will come for a control examination in a year.
Bogdan had his left wrist treated. A year ago a young soldier of 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade got caught on a stretch near the Pisky village, where he seriously injured the left radius. In public hospitals he had the soft tissue cured, but an injured bone went through the hospital unnoticed. An advanced fracture and significant tangential defect was treated properly only in terms of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project, with a use of a cellular technology.
This is how the bone looked like before Bogdan joined the project
Nowadays Bogdan actively recover after the treatment and, returned to a full and active life. He rides a motorcycle, and do other interesting things. A recovery of Bogdan had its price. A complete treatment course cost over 260,000 UAH, covered at the expense of charitable contributions in terms of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project, which were made by the concerned people all over the world.
Unfortunately, we can not say that the job is done, because Bogdan is not the last seriously wounded Ukrainian defender, who was/is in a need of a high-tech treatment. The government does not allow to finance a cellular technology treatment from the state budget, and conventional medicine is almost useless in cases like that. What should the wounded soldiers do then?
While the government stands aside, you can be the one to help. Thanks to the donations received in terms of The Bioengineering Rehabilitation for Wounded Project we turn wounded Ukrainian defenders back to normal life, and save them from amputations and severe injuries. Do not remain indifferent. It is really easy to give a person a second chance.
Join the project to save life.
