In April we launched the School of Military Divers project, because we believe we can’t let standards slip in what is an important military profession, which forms part of Ukraine’s maritime security. In those almost three months we have achieved a lot. Specially instructors traveled to Mariupol. They prepared a site for training dives, experienced the pool and met with prospective students. They also gained experience with new equipment, completed trial descents into the water, prepared and worked out the course program.
Every day we are getting closer to launching the school. Thanks to your support we were able to buy the first consignment of the required equipment.
Most wet-suits, fins, boots, masks, tubes and certain other outfit items are ready and waiting for the first dive.
We want to seperately thank the company Divestandart for its invaluable assistance in the project. At our request, they collected the required gear, sometimes in units, ordered and searched abroad for all we need. In addition, also provided a significant discount. We can not express how nice it is to know that there are people and companies who are willing to selflessly help Ukraine’s military.
